What have you got to say about the traffic in Kajang

The Celebrations are still ongoing and minute by minute the traffic are passing through Kajang and mainly to avoid paying toll. Once the school holidays are over we will experience traffic as usual JAM! especially the hour when the morning classes ends and the afternoon classes are about to begin. Sometimes the jam are due to overwhelming traffic volumes and other times bad traffic light timing and of course the usual bad parking habits of some people, queue jumping, buses park at bus stop which only suppose to pick up passengers blah blah blah etc...
And usually around this time people seems to be more stressful than usual, I am sure there are many near misses and sometimes accidents which results in ugly situations.

Hope somebody can give good suggestions to improve the situations........

lolz,i dun think i noe how to improve it,but i noe how to avoid it XD juz avoid busy hours!! wakakkaa, easy n simple x) really!! i remember going to school last time,my sisters are in convent whle i studied in kajang utama, whenever my mum send us,she'll hav to go to convent 1st,den kajang utama...i had to leave home at 6.45, FIVE MINUTES LATE and i'll be stuck at jalan bukit...end up ariving late to school -___-|| same goes for my father, who leaves home at 6-6.30am to kl~~

busy hours along convent school and jalan bukit school --> 7.20am till the school bell rings. haha ! even sometimes at 7.18 already jam -.-'''... and 12.45pm to 1.30pm. please avoid using the jalan bukit road that time, very jam one.after 1.30pm basically no jam around there already. as for in the evening... every wednesday and friday, because SRK Convent Kajang ends school at 6.30pm and SMK Convent Kajang ends at 6.40pm, so... avoid using the road around... 6.30pm till 7.10pm.

and actually, the best time without jam is at night and middle of the night =p

i forgot! the SILK highway can go to kajang town one if you pay the toll la.

but yea, many people refuse to pay, alahai, who wants to pay RM1 -.-''' if now naik harga already then i don't know la.

so... my suggestion is... they should not charge people who wants to go to kajang town...

stupid la they all, want to reduce traffic then want people to pay. apalah, economy very good la now?! and so... my conclusion is... if the toll is still there to collect money and they don't build it any further from the entrance to kajang town [alamak, is there a better word? -.-'''], the traffic will continue being bad and in the future, we have the potential to be the next bangkok [bangkok is the one with terrible jam right? alamak, geography sudah lupa -.- please correct me if im wrong]

and then, kajang town should have better public transport like Singapore! what la, taxi drivers never use meter wan. want to charge per head. wa, taxi drivers very smart already ah and this only happens in kajang town. eh, but i thought already dikuat kuasakan that every taxi have to use meter wan? >=( oi, taxi drivers cheating ah now? >=( *writes in complain letter* [but to where? -.-''']

and then right, the traffic police should jaga the busy road during peak time la, don't la minum kopi makan biscuit sambil saman orang [ahem].

okay, that's all. till i remember somemore :D

ermm...about the toll,i think its reasonable for them to collect money...the only thing unreasonable is they never accepted our suggestion to make a u-turn after the kajang utama junction!! becoz of dat i had to travel 4 km to reach home from school >=| and yeah, they had to collect sum fees to cover up their expenses and cost for building the high way...so its like, taxing the rich ppl who wanted to go to kajang the faster way =P~
(it may be longer,by avoiding traffic jams, its much faster~)

so if they really wanna improve the situation...consider widening the roads,or creating new paths in kajang(quite impossible),but not new paths GOING INTO THE CRAMPED CITY!! XD

n yeah!!! they shud make in-town public transports like in singapore!! its so convenient u can live ur life without a driving liscense!!! ofcoz..im still getting one no matter wad =.=|| they can divide each town into a few sections and make a cable-car/monorail sorta stuff dat moves from sections to sections but ofcoz,it need a lotta money.. and with a majority of stingy uncooperative malaysians, its near imposibble to hav dat...

cant blame the citizens though, there are government ppl who take the money and masuk pocket all the time...we need to build the 'trust' between rakyat-kejaraan b4 we talk about all these public related buildings XD~~
coz it will go on like dis;

kerajaan : penduduk never bayar
tax,how kita nak buat??
penduduk : kerajaan makan duit,
buat apa bayar???

and blah blah blah until this is settled one day...

and yeah...taxi drivers...since most ppl dun use taxies often, taxi drivers tend to think dat "they wont noe about the taxi charging rates " and all...even if the meter shows rm5,they will charge passangers rm 7,saying "rm 2 is per head" or sthn,we pun bodoh2 go beliv and pay them... we can actually inquire about how taxi charge their passangers and all from any nearest taxi station, its our rights as a "pengguna bijak"!! ^^~

and so...time to sleep... -.-ZZzzz

I'm not very well acquainted with the road although these are the road i tread on or rather ride in the car on. Even if it's having a traffic jam, i don't feel much of it! That's because i traverse in my grandfather old grey toyota car, one that my chinese friend call the 'lau kiap che' Even under the hot sun, the air-cond is quite strong (i sit in the front seat),while i enjoy music from light & easy,in such a condition i fell asleep quite easily especialy when i am drowsy and dead beat either early in the morn or at the afternoon.

I find the traffic police most amusing. Their gloves does strike a chord! It reminds me of the gloves that Mickey Mouse wears! I'm greatful they don't peer in nosily to check if i'm wearing my seat belt because i constantly forgets.

At sunup,at the hot hours of daylight, and the weary moments of
sundown, they are there waving their arms. Persistently waving...and waving...and waving..Sometimes i see a traffic police with ashen curly hair! However, i do have my crucial times where i would stare with buldging eyes at the police because of THE time when nature calls!

I would suggest that if you are bored rigid, try looking out,if you're lucky you get to see the morning moon,(in the morning) i like the morning moon its so magical looking, it seems like it doesn't want to leave the sky to watch what would happen in the daylight which it never gets to see with it's dusky pale colour. Of those mysterious waving dark trees. Nevertheless, if you're like me, and star-crossed, you might see little kids or baby that stares at you with their big eyes! (I'm not good with kids or babies)Or even better, if you're fortunate you get to see cute dogs in the another car! They did charm your day,on the other hand just pray you don't see dogs sleeping the middle of the road...

saying about traffic at jln2 utama or within the shop lots?? haiiya, i think within the shoplots area should only limit the car lane, or dun provide parking, only allow parking for the traders shj. the town area is more enjoyful if it can promote a pedestrian-friendly town.. not only we can do household shops, but also hav leisure time there..

nothing we can do about the traffic in kajang. bcoz a lot of development around kajang and many people love to live in kajang. so what we have to do is manage our travel around kajang avoid taking the traffic jam area. i live in kajang for about 22 years now, i even born here so i watch a lot of things happen here. kajang now is a city not a cowboy town.

yeah the bus stop should be move..it's suitable to be putting along the main junction where a lot of cars using that road..maybe suitable area in front of the mpkj building where the land are bigger and not messing with the town..that area are not far from town..people can walk from there..
